“While I was up at Lake Winnipesaukee this past fall for a tournament I had some major trolling motor issues on the official practice day.  To make a long story short a part had clearly broken that released the trolling motor to go up and down.  Anyway, as I was troubleshooting the issue Greg Carlson stopped at my boat and offered to take a look.  He immediately assessed the problem and knew exactly what part broke and needed to be replaced.  Knowing that getting the part was not an option Greg offered to take a look and had an idea for a workaround that would get me through the tournament.  After completing a fix for another boat (similar on the water issues that day lol) Greg got to work on my trolling motor.  Two hours later he had fixed it.  The trolling motor ran flawlessly for the entire tournament.   I’m very thankful Greg happened to be fishing that same tournament that week and took time away from his own practice to help out several of us competitors with our issues.  He also checked in on me each day of the tournament to make sure all was good.  A class act person and I highly recommend his services to anyone in need of trolling motor service.”

“ I had seen Greg work on several boats while at a tournament on Winnipesaukee. A few weeks later, it was the middle of a tournament and I could’t get my live well to run. Greg met me at the lake and got everything going again right on the water. Really saved the day, I would have had to pack it up without his help. Definitely going back to GDC Marine for future repairs”

“I had installed new units on my boat, two HDS12’s and an HDS9. After installing these units, I notice that late in the day, the units would power off when I would start the motor, no good. Greg was able to quickly diagnose the problem, and we decided to upgrade the system as a whole.

The electrical system Greg designed took care of all the issues I was having with my depth finders. They would no longer shut off when I started the outboard, and the picture was clearer than ever. Greg and GDC Marine get my seal of approval.”
